saw the news yesterday and realised that Youth Olympics will start their 1 year counting down soon. around this week i suppose? hmm. so suddenly inspired by it.

thinking of it, MP/SIP(FYP) will end in 30 days! well, not exactly end, just that we don't have to be stucked in the stupid lab for hours, just doing our dumb project. no life at all!! freedom at last!

so from now on, u might just encounter me saying: counting down! i just so looking forward to it! might just go bonkers just by thinking of it!

well, did a goodddd deed just now. went for the "Walk for Rice" event organised by TP. well, if you are wondering what is it, its just a event that the sponsers will donate a bowl of rice for every 100 metres you walk. so after lunch, cliques went together to walk. i walked a total of 3200 metres... that is 3.2km!! woah. just look at that. i help those in need by donating 32 bowls of rice. others did more.

wanted to add an image to today's post, but it seems that blogger is going tru some problems, i can't seemed to attach any images. well, as my tittle suggests, young generation. what have they become?

i was on the way home from school earlier, saw this grandfather & grandson walking home. i suppose granddad was fetching grandson from school to home. well, the kid was kicking gramp's leg rudely. not once, not twice, but many times! i was amused by the scene. gramp's got so angry and started scolding the kidd. "you kick my leg, i kick yours". and he did. lightly, i suppose.

to shock me, the kid broke down into tears. gramp's just walked off. knowing that kid will follow behind. by this time, i had almost overtaken the duo, when the kid said, "i lock you in puli station!, i lock you in puli station!, i lock you in puli station!".

im deeply amused

ryan's sudden voice shook my calmness. i was pulled out from my deep sleep. heart still thumping away. that's was how i spend my last few hours in the lab. sleeping soundly.

that's what we do on fridays. everyone in the lab seemed so calm, relaxed. with just some kind of barbarian screaming away like as if their asses are on fire. due to friday? everyone waiting calmly for the clock to strike 1730hrs. that was then all diferent sorts of sounds came crashing in the lab. people laughing, boo-ing, yelling. TGIF? - i suppose...

was wondering. what kind of weird grades would i get for the irritating MP/SIP?

well, all thanks to Major Project, im finally able to change my blogskin. u might be asking why?, MP so free?... well, its kinda true for me now.

lum wasn't giving us what we wanted. other than continuing to study the source code, we don't really know what we could carry on. just wait. keep waiting. hmm.

he said alot of things. 1st, he said he wanna send us to SMRT for SIP, wanted us to prepare for it. now, all news die off. then he said, wanna give us the codings we needed by yesterday, then news die off.

Well, the stress is all on. You can't feel it now, but you'll do in a few weeks time.

Sometimes, i really don't know if i'm being too petty or what. But, i just can't hold it down any longer!

i may be seem as im a joker all around. but, do take note that i still have a limit to my patience. cross my line, and that is what i'll give it to you.

Can't you just stand together with us, or maybe at least try to 'act' as tough you're super-duper interested in what we are doing?

Would you rather go what with the others who won't stand by you tru'out the times? you'd rather throw us alone. thinking of every single way to keep you with us.

we've tried. at least you should try. you know what is the difference between a 'team' and a 'group'?

A team stays together, do things together. whereas, a group just stands together and doing nothing. i really do hope that we could be a team, not a group.

like what people often say: "Eating is a way to enjoy life", i'll have to agree to the sentence today. Why!? i'll tell ya. here it goes.....

was planning with Ex-JYNP Cadets for an KTV outing today. but the idea was finally changed into a bowling session. reached Marina Square, played the 1st round of games, i came in 3rd. with Farhan, Min & Nad in 1st, 2nd, 4th, respectively. still early, we played another game. this time around, Wanying substituted Nad in the game. i actually wanted to give up my chance to Mariam to try. but, she, being a dumb-o, just don't wanna try out. maybe she was once hit by a bowling ball. haha. so i carried on the game, and came in LAST! with Min, Farhan & Wanying coming 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively.

Oh ya! then we were saying the person who DID NOT play the game is supposed to treat all of us to Pizzahut. and our dear Mariam did!! Goodness! Thanks sooo much for the lunch!!!

Ookie, after lunch that bloody heavy lunch/dinner, Nad suggested we have Swensen's ice-cream. but all of us are bloody full. So, plans were placed aside. went to the 'not-so-roof' rooftop, lepak for an hour plus, went back to Swensen's for ice-cream. This time around, it was wanying, nad & my turn to treat the others! The Giant Earthquake costs us S$10 bucks each! mymy. swensen's sure know how to earn the $$$.

Hmm, then suggested to have fries @ Swensen's. but dunno which smart alec, said, go Mac, cheaper lah. then we went there. this time around, the poor Min & Farhan managed to fork out S$10 bucks to treat all on '4-large fries'. we tot we couldnt finish. but yet, all's gone.

So, we named this outing a 'Makansutra'. haha. hmm. then made our way home after Mac. its really super filling u know! then all of us dun wanna take train. rather squeeze on bus 10 back to tampines, where we saw, this lady, 'driftng' on the bus. she was sleeping so soundly, then she was shaking all around. like as if, she was the main lead of 'Fast & Furious'. trust me. its really that funny.

Okie, then reached Tampines, Wanying & Farhan went opposite directions, leaving the rest of us to walk home. 1st, sent Nad home. That bimbo, purposely made us go a long route around her estate. i swear, that will be my last time walking in the 700+ estate.

after sending Nad home safely & soundly, next Mariam's home, short walk and we're there. then left me and Min. Walking happily, then suddenly, i asked.

B - "Min, wanna jog home not??"
M - "ok with me, u want?"
B - "Set!"
M - "Eh, must put this on ur blog arh!"

and so, we took less then a minute to reach Min's block. HAHA. Min actually reminded me to post our running experience on blog. =P

i then, slowly, pathetically, jogged home myself, and realised that i was covered in sweat when i reached home. at least, something to burn off all those calories from 'Makansutra'. ha.

Mymy! look how much i wrote!! its really fun....... till we meet next time k?? we're gonna rock the town alive again. next time, hoping ah boy could join!!

She left. Her family, friends, and fans all over asia. 阿桑 (A Sang) left the world on the 6th of April, due to breast cancer at a tender age of 34. What a pity.

I felt the deep pity of her death, as i was one of her fans. i just can't stop loving to the songs that were once sung by her. Its a real deep pity.

happiness - the quality or state of being happy.

everybody should have a state of happiness in their life. no matter what happens, so long as that particular thing appears, we feel happy. well, thats happiness.

For me, happiness is when i see the people around me feel happy, as long as they are happy, i'll be happy.

Hmm, we should be happy, even if we aren't. the more sad you get, the sadder you become. So why not look at the bright side of life, cheer up, and continue the happiness. Well, thats an answer that i received after thinking tru'out the night when unhappiness came. i don't know why, but the moment you're there, i feel unhappy, and sad. Well, maybe its the special chemstry i feel. not very sure.

there's a saying in chinese. you'll live a day in unhappiness, similarly, you'll spend the same day with happiness. then why not go on your life in happiness?

life hasn't been exciting for me after the semestral exams. my life is all surrounded with TV dramas, internet, online games, internet dramas. and i'm supposed to do this for 1 whole month? argh. i must find something to keep me busy with. HAH!

well, it had been raining these few days like no any other body's business.

i can't even leave my home for a haircut!

anyway, went tanning yesterday for 2 hours and i've successfully stayed fair. (alright a 'lill........' tanned i should say.) at least i see some tan lines. haha.

and yes, back to blog regarding today. went to sch as usual. except that im not wearing spects. spent half an hour putting it on. torture!

haha. it my own choice! haha.

met up with AIA tempies after sch dinner specially for szeqiu. (he's going in NS day after). gd luck yeah? haha. had lunch @ Blue Oasis @ Century Square. then kunrong had a sudden craving for IKEA's meat balls. haha. went over there for it. (it's free transport anyway.)

then had fun there. seeing all those funitures made me all children again. hump. haha.

reached home around 10.30pm. torture again! taking out my lens! well, i tried all methods, but it just wont budge! agrh! at last, used the pulling down method.

new year, new resolutions.

haha. thats what most people says. i guess its just a normal term to show that you are gonna improve from previous years. from what i see, people tend to form back to square 1 after a few months, or simply weeks after the '0'!! is being shouted out.

and so, im back in singapore. for quite a long time in fact. what a fast one week had past. it seems to me that its only a few days in penang. what? how was the trip? hah. well, i was fun. 7 days 6 nights(excluding 2 days of travelling on bus) of hoildays just ended in a blink of an eye. phew! that was extremely FAST!

pictures? nah. not ready yet. a total of almost 400 photos waiting for me to be uploaded in my hard disk, so it needs time. wasn't doing much of a thing during this few days. surfing the nte, watching the TV, doing those irritating projects, my life just can't get out of these few entertainments.

well, as seen on top, 《武侠梁祝》would be the topic of the day.

went to watch this show with my AIA colleagues today even tough my friends who had been there before warned me not to waste my time on this movie. but my those AIA female colleagues who loved the so "HIMBO-ic" 吴尊 so much, they managed to psyco me and the few other guys.

hmm. if u like comedy, try this show. (it's meant to be a very sad love story)

but, if this was categorised under sad romance - i would give it 1/5 star.

well, today was my last day @ AIA. sobbs. coz school starting on next monday. sian.

went to wok with a lil bit of weird feeling. don't know how do i explain it. just don't feel the same. walk into the building, into the office.

started crapping with colleagues, stamped date. then went in to the temps room to get my 'luggage bag' and went outside to work. then soon, kuan yee (who seldom walked into the temps room came in and wendy said, "颁奖仪式开始". KR & i was like "?????".

yeah. just as u guessed. my sweet colleagues gave us their handmade 'farewell' gift & i was so bloody touched lar!!! well if ur wondering what was it? here are the pictures.

then, went to swensen's for lunch. where i ordered a 'CRAYFISH PASTA!'

then after luch, HYC (my team leader) called me into her work station & gave me a little something as appreciation fr me helping the whole major team. well, it was nothing much actually. just a $25 ISETAN voucher. but it meant alot to me. i like it when people give me credits! well, who doesn't? hehe.

hmm. then it was already 5.45pm. so packed up and handed in the stuffs i was told to settle.

BUT!!!!!

i had to finish my 'work' by hook or by crook by today. (as it was my last day). so no choice, i stay on to complete my un-finished big pile of work.

what touches me was my friendly, sweet, nice colleagues! they actually waited for me till like 7pm until i finished all my work!!!

my goodness! thanks for wasting your 1hour on me.

i guess you could have guessed what i'm gonna update on. yes. a wonderful badminton session with AIA mates.

well it was friday, not in the mood to work. fell asleep, day-dreamt, and i had only done 4 scannings. " I BROKE MY OWN RECORD!" where i could do up to 20+ in a day.

coz my heart. mind. soul was on the badminton session coming right up after work.

finally 挨-ed till 1745hrs, packed our bags, walked off and headed opposite. for???

BADMINTON. of course. DUH!!!!

yeah. so went into the sports complex and played. everything went fine. until i paired up with kunrong to play against deniece & yanling.

"we were trying to save the 'ball' and thus went the same direction. both smacked our rackets. mine hit the 'ball' while hers hit my forhead" OUCH~~~~~~~

im ok now. won't have to claim insurance. heex.

yeah. after playing, went to eat. where deniece just can't stop laughing. don't know why

MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T POUR YOUR FOOD INTO YOUR MOUTH WHILE EATING!

then went back inter with szeqiu, wendy & deniece. wend wants to buy something when the shop isn't open. yeah. so went somewhere and talked cock.

alrite alrite. back to update. i don't know what to say actually. coz really nothing to say.

maybe more about work. yeah. boring news about me starting to work @ AIA. nothing special. went to fish & co. nothing special. met new friends. nothing special.

but wait! new friends that made you feel like you've known them for centuries!!!! - that's something special yeah.

something more about yesterday. went mac for lunch for lunch (maybe not going there next time after that 'scary' email...) eat, talk.... blah.... hmm... then talk about pregnancies with deniece & kunrong. (i don't know why the hell i was engaged into the so 'woman' topic.) just interesting maybe?? yeah. was talking until kunrong said something about MEN being pregnent. i was like ???? men pregnent? haha... deniece went. "yeahyeahyeah. not a bad idea... made those men know the pain of pregnent women). haha. end of lunch. went back office and relieased that we were 15mins ahead time.

then bad ideas rushed through my mind (or OUR minds)

all went to the photocopy machine, and started to photocopy hands and faces!!! i nearly puked after a full lunch & heavy laughing. that's so FUNNY!!!!!

then games ended, back to job. whoa i damn 'pek chek' lar. had mountains of work on top of me. and the team leader came and said "Ben, 帮我拿这个下去四楼, counter 5." i was like 'orh' and left i aside due to the 'mountains' of uncomplete work. she turned around and said loudly "现在!!!". WTF!!! can't you c im doing my work?? like as if im so damn free like her who can talk and laugh during office hours. sian

so, managed to survived as we moved the the happiest time of the day! 5.45pm!!! yippee! but sze qiu can't leave. coz he can't find his final file for the day and don't wanna give up. something i didn't except happened. the whole lot of us stayed back to help out (more of sabotag-ing instead). haha. i like those feelings! where everyone come together to do something. and we only knew each other for like 2 weeks??? my goodness. wonderful friends.....

P.S: Kunrong, may your 'dream' of being a scientist come through that you can make guys pregnent!!!

yippee!!! finally, i've found a job!!! quite a nice one in fact. colleagues there are quite nice people. hehe... also, Sem 2.1 results are out.

guess what, i've cleared level 2.1 & on my way to level 2.2. HEEX!

from now till the end of the vacationas. let me have fun with my new job as admin assistant @ AIA Tampines. Cool yeah??

oh and also, went to fish & co. to have a farewell lunch with AIA colleagues for Louis, Ian and my Shifu (Jong Meng). haha. took photos. but did not get it anywhere near me. will upload it when photos are up k?

突然想用华文来写 Blog. 好久没这么做了。

终于，拼搏了几个星期后，大考终于画下了完美句号。终于，我期待已久的假期也到来了。哈哈！好开心！

考试并没什么大碍，只不过不知道会不会拿 "A's"，及格是不会有问题的。（我猜想吧!)

突然歇下了繁忙又忙碌的学校身活，是有一点不习惯。现在，正在期待有工作的到来，不然着一个半月的假期将会白白的被浪费掉。

Phew. after the 'long' post in chinese, i shall translate it into english for all benefits of my non-chinese friends out there.

"After fighting the long battle with my studies, my exmas finally ended. My long awaited vacations are also finally here!

Exams are ok. Passing shouldn't be a problem (I suppose?)

A sudden break out of the school life is really hard to get used to. Job hunting had been my recent activity. I MUST get a job within this few days! or else, i would throw my vacations to waste!"

Oh! and yes, went to COMEX show @ Suntec just now. people there were like as if things here are like FREE! so damn packed! phew! managed to 'sup' a LCD monitor (which i have been hoping for for a long time), back home @ $229/-. I believe there are cheaper ones. But due to the human jam there, i have to give up searching for cheaper ones as it has already met my budget.

Haha... i suddenly reliease that today's post i damn bloody long!!! haha. treat its as a pay back for not blog-ing frequently!

heh heh!!! im back..

have been @ work 4 the last 1 week... well i must say... my work is damn bored... and im serious about it!! ever slept during working time?? well, i did... and for a long time!!! 1/2 hour... phew... and my supervisor advised me to rest... what the hell!!! haha... and i must get 1 thing across... sorry for the misconception about my job... its not temp assistant actually... or maybe, it is... im also not sure... but i do go around with 'MY' laptop... to........ download memories out from the taxi meter... ?????

WHAT!!!!!!!! sad lah... then came mariam.... SAME!!! st hilda's... left me and wanying!!! shit... hopes getting lower and lower... dun even have the mood for the meeting... siao liao... phew!!! FINALLY!!! THE 72nd CADET INSPECTOR BASIC TRAINING COURSE had ended... now that it had all ended, i must get back to my studies agian... missed too much during my period!!! 8 whole days of in CAMP... feeling quite relax now... its now that im gonna be an official Cadet Inspector.... muz be really perfect in all my drills and knowledge... jia you!!!

haha.... juz briefly tok bout yesterday... last day of CIBTC ATC... all of our instructors came shaking our hands... congratulating us on our completion of the course!!

when CII Sabrina, who is my instructor came to me, i juz simpliy could'nt control my tears... feelings of happiness, and saddness comin 2gether... haix... however.... im now feeling better... OOOI!!! im sick mind you!!! all of the standing in RAIN, screaming and shouting... i've lost my voice, flu, cough, slight fever, body ache, tired... seems like i need a long time to recover ald... but fine, im all done with it... all here comes a new LEADER life of CI BENEDICT!!!
